JERRY DUGGER

Jerry Dugger is a New York Blues Hall Of Fame inductee and a veteran of the New York City Blues community.

His bass baritone voice and musicianship has taken him across America and Europe.

His newest release, Don’t Crow Don’t Cry on Third Street Guitar Records, is a display of his influences, recorded in the style of the great Muddy Waters record The Blues Singer, all in one room one vocal mic, acoustic guitars bass drums and keyboard.

It’s also a love letter to “Homeboy Steve Antonakos”, a good friend and band mate lost at the beginning of the Covid pandemic.

The album also highlights the songwriting of long time friends and band mates Joe Flood and Neil Thomas.

As a songwriter Jerry writes from his life, and from the heart, sharing his personal experiences, triumphs and heartbreaks, he embodies the Blues. We hope you enjoy this collection of songs ranging from straight up Blues to a New Orleans marching beat, to quirky existential musings, to the title song Don’t Crow Don’t Cry, a parable of fame and fortune gone wrong. Thank you and enjoy the ride !
